What this role is
A quality assurance inspector for aerospace harness and cable assemblies at a rocket manufacturer, responsible for in-process and final inspections at supplier facilities and internal manufacturing. This role suits someone with electronics manufacturing inspection experience who is comfortable with extensive travel and wants to contribute to the reliability and quality of spaceflight hardware.

What they ask for
Required
- 5+ years cable and harness inspection or assembly experience in electronics manufacturing
- Ability to travel 50–80%
- Knowledge of NASA-STD-8739.4 and/or IPC-A-620 standards
- Continuity testing with DMM and portable measuring devices
- Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and specifications
- Familiarity with avionics systems, components, and installations
Nice to have
- Process development and first-time quality experience
- Well-organized and able to structure previously undefined work
- Experience leading projects or teams and driving quality improvements
- IPC-A-620, IPC-A-610, or J-STD-001 certification
