Required
- Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, formal welding certification, or technical/trade school completion
- 2–4 years of hands-on mechanical fabrication, welding, and assembly experience
- Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding on various metals
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Familiarity with manual mills, lathes, grinders, and metalworking tools
- Exceptional safety commitment and safe work practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
Nice to have
- Experience in high-temperature applications, thermal systems, or energy storage
- Knowledge of materials science, particularly fabrication and welding of heat-resistant materials
- Familiarity with safety standards in fabrication and high-temperature R&D settings
- Experience in an R&D or startup environment
