What they ask for

Required

  • 10+ years building experimentation platforms, statistical analysis systems, or data-intensive backend services
  • Applied statistics knowledge including hypothesis testing, sequential analysis, variance reduction, and power analysis
  • Experience with adaptive experimentation ML systems such as contextual bandits or Bayesian optimization
  • Track record designing systems across multiple data warehouses like Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, or BigQuery
  • Backend programming expertise in Go, Python, or similar languages
  • Experience with event-driven architectures and large-scale data processing
  • Cloud infrastructure experience with AWS or GCP
  • Technical leadership and cross-team influence

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with frequentist vs. Bayesian statistical trade-offs
  • Ability to translate statistical concepts for non-technical audiences
