What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering or related experience
- Foundational knowledge of propulsion systems, mechanics of materials, and thermal-fluid systems
- Ability to work hands-on with technicians and write work instructions and process plans
- Vendor management experience including selection, defect disposition, and quality management
- Proficiency with additive and subtractive manufacturing, precision inspection, and GD&T
- Experience with CAD tools for tooling design
Nice to have
- Experience in propulsion development programs
- Experience transitioning products from development to high-volume production
- Hands-on experience with CNC machining, welding, and high-pressure testing
- Experience writing formal process specifications and manufacturing standards
