What this role is
Relativity Space seeks a source inspector to oversee cable and harness manufacturing quality at supplier facilities and internally, traveling extensively to verify compliance with aerospace standards and engineering specifications. This role suits someone with deep cable assembly inspection experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work independently to establish quality processes for a production-ramping rocket program.

What they ask for
Required
- 5+ years cable and harness inspection or assembly experience in electronics manufacturing
- Ability to travel 50–80%
- Knowledge of NASA-STD-8739.4 and/or IPC-A-620 standards
- Continuity testing using DMM and portable measuring devices
- Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and internal specifications
- Familiarity with avionics systems, components, and installations
Nice to have
- Process development and first-time quality experience
- Highly organized with ability to provide structure to undefined work
- Project or team leadership experience, formal or informal
- IPC-A-620, IPC-A-610, or J-STD-001 certification or prior certification
