Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor's in another technical field with substantial EEE components experience for space hardware
  • 5+ years of electrical engineering experience, ideally in aerospace
  • EEE parts engineering experience including reliability, utilization, obsolescence, and parts libraries
  • Knowledge of military and industry standards (MIL, NASA, ISO, ECSS, IPC)
  • Experience performing part/material/process failure analyses and recommending corrective actions
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional failure and root-cause investigations
  • Knowledge of counterfeit parts/materials management, inspection techniques, and test methods
  • Ability to review EEE/PM&P contract requirements and communicate implementation approaches
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in engineering, physical sciences, or business administration
  • Familiarity with MS Office, JIRA, Manufacturro, Aegis, D365, and common PLM/MES tools
  • Experience with Ansys Sherlock for parts reliability analysis
  • Knowledge of passive/active components, connectors, metal finishes, tin whisker mitigation, lead-free solder control, and obsolescence management
  • Experience preparing/reviewing NSPAR/NSMAR requests
  • Strong presentation skills to customers and senior leadership
  • Background with aerospace customers, mission assurance processes, satellites, space vehicles, and ground systems
  • Experience managing subcontractors
