- Ability to prototype, reason about engineering tradeoffs, and do your own analysis
- Experience standing up a complete system from scratch: business rhythms, reporting, optimization, and experimentation platforms
- Genuine AI fluency demonstrated through workflow integration and verified use
- Metric judgment: ability to question whether a number is real or an artifact of measurement
- Clear executive communication: leading with decisions and holding position under pushback
