Required
- Bachelor of Science in manufacturing engineering or mechanical engineering
- 10+ years designing, building, and commissioning tooling and fixtures for manufacturing, assembly, and test
- Experience with CAD and FEA-based analysis software for structural applications
- Full-cycle project completion experience
- Strategic tooling buildout and project management experience
Nice to have
- Design for manufacturability and design for assembly expertise through prototype-to-production experience
- Understanding of common manufacturing materials, GD&T, and tolerance/stack-up analysis
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and machines including mills, lathes, welding, sheet-metal work, and assembly
- Custom machine design experience with motors, actuators, linear rails, pneumatics, and bearings
