What they ask for
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- NDT Level II Eddy Current certification (ASNT SNT-TC-1A, NAS-410, or DOD guidance) or Level I experience
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards like AWS D17.1
- Meet vision requirement of 20/25 Snellen at 16 inches
- Stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- U.S. citizen or eligible work authorization under ITAR
Nice to have
- Additional NDT certifications (Radiography, Visual, or Penetrant Level II or III)
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
- Aerospace industry inspection experience
- Knowledge of NASA, AMS, or ASME standards
- Lean Manufacturing and formal problem-solving experience (8D, PPS)
- Microsoft Office and NDT software proficiency
