What this role is

This role owns Replit's paid media strategy and budget across TV, CTV, digital video, audio, social, search, and out-of-home. You'll direct external agencies, challenge their plans, manage multi-million-dollar budgets, and translate campaign performance into decisions for marketing leadership—the strategic counterpart to hands-on media buying.

Required

  • 5+ years of media planning and strategy experience on brand side or managing major consumer brands at an agency
  • Experience independently reviewing and challenging agency media plans
  • Multi-million dollar media budget management across concurrent campaigns including pacing, forecasting, and reallocation
  • Fluency across TV, CTV, online video, OOH, audio, podcasts, paid social, search, and programmatic
  • Command of media measurement including reach and frequency, brand lift, incrementality testing, and marketing mix modeling
  • Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency
  • Stakeholder management across Finance, Analytics, Creative, and agency teams
  • Daily active use of AI tools for analysis, reporting, and planning
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and make decisions at speed

Nice to have

  • Experience at high-growth consumer tech, B2C, or AI company
  • Agency background with move to client side
  • Standing up a media function or measurement framework from scratch
  • OOH and large cultural-moment buys including sponsorships and tentpole events
  • Perspective on how AI is changing media planning and buying
  • Active Replit user who has built and shipped something with the product
  • Based in or able to relocate to San Francisco Bay Area
