What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field
- Minimum 10 years progressive experience in facilities engineering, building systems maintenance, or construction project management
- At least 5 years in senior leadership or management role
- Expertise in large-scale commercial HVAC, electrical, and life safety systems operation and maintenance
- Experience managing complex construction projects with $5M+ budgets and capital improvement programs
- Strong understanding of local building codes, energy codes, and OSHA safety standards
- Excellent leadership, team-building, and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, blueprints, and technical specifications
Nice to have
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or certifications such as CFM, FMP, PMP, or LEED AP
- Experience in media, entertainment, or production studio environments
- Direct experience with sustainable building practices and energy efficiency initiatives
