Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- 10+ years leading engineering teams and deploying high-availability architectures
- Expert-level knowledge of Tomcat, Pega, EC2, and containerization platforms
- Proven proficiency managing, configuring, integrating, and troubleshooting ETL and data interchange platforms (Enterprise Service Bus, MQ, HULFT)
- Fluent spoken and written Japanese and English
- CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools experience
- Multi-project management and concurrent project coordination
- Offshore vendor management and team coordination experience
- Architecting secure, scalable, highly-available systems with disaster recovery across hybrid/multi-cloud
- Infrastructure Disaster Recovery strategy expertise (BIA, RTO, RPO)
- Expert knowledge of security and compliance in regulated/insurance environments (encryption, SSO, audit trails)
- Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies
- Process improvement and continuous operational enhancement mindset
- Strategic thinking and ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Team leadership and mentoring abilities

- Generative AI development tools experience (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot)
