What they ask for

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 2+ years professional software engineering experience
  • Hands-on experience building AI or generative AI features connecting model APIs to business workflows
  • Strong coding proficiency in Python and/or Java including API development, testing, and service design
  • Experience with AWS or equivalent cloud services
  • Familiarity with embeddings, chunking, indexing, vector and hybrid search, reranking, and vector stores
  • Experience with AI orchestration patterns and tools like LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex
  • Experience designing prompts, schemas, tool/function calls, and validation logic for AI systems
  • Familiarity with tracing, monitoring, evaluation, and debugging tools like LangSmith or CloudWatch
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Model Context Protocol or similar patterns for connecting AI to enterprise tools
  • Experience with multimodal AI systems including text, image, document, audio, or video models
  • Experience applying AI to fraud, payments, risk, customer support, marketplace operations, or digital commerce
