Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 12+ years of software engineering experience in embedded, robotics, or mission systems
- 4+ years managing or leading a software team of 15+ engineers
- Proven success scaling a software team through rapid growth
- Experience delivering flight-critical or mission-critical software through full development lifecycle
- Proficiency with modern CI/CD tooling and Linux environments
- Ability to collaborate across software, systems, GNC, and program teams
- U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, asylee, or refugee status
Nice to have
- Advanced degree
- Background in UAS, drones, robotics, or autonomous systems for defense or aerospace
- Familiarity with computer vision, machine learning, autonomy, or GNC domains
- Experience with real-time flight software and robotics/autonomy frameworks
- Knowledge of open-systems and airworthiness standards (MOSA, FACE, DO-178)
- Experience leading distributed or multi-site teams in defense technology
- Clearance eligibility or prior cleared work experience
- Comfort with AI-assisted development tools
