What this role is
AST SpaceMobile seeks an Industrial Maintenance Technician for their satellite production facility to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot production equipment and facility systems on a night shift schedule. The role combines preventative maintenance, mechanical and electrical diagnostics, and manufacturing support in a fast-paced aerospace production environment.

What they ask for
Required
- U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or authorized to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum one year of industrial, manufacturing, military, or facilities maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Nice to have
- Three or more years of industrial maintenance experience
- Military maintenance experience
- Manufacturing, aerospace, semiconductor, or production facility experience
- CMMS and preventative maintenance program experience
- Electrical troubleshooting with multimeters and test equipment
- Experience with motors, controls, conveyors, pumps, compressors, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Reliability-centered maintenance knowledge
- OSHA, electrical safety, or Lockout/Tagout certifications
- Technical school, vocational training, or associate degree in maintenance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
