What they ask for

Required

  • 5+ years software engineering or data engineering experience
  • Proficiency in Python or Golang
  • Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines at scale with distributed processing technologies like Spark or Hadoop
  • Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Deep understanding of database technologies including RDBMS, NoSQL, and columnar data stores
  • Experience building scalable, containerized data services on Kubernetes or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code and DevOps practices
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-organized and able to work independently with ambiguity
  • Experience in Scrum/Agile environments
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Must live in the United States

Nice to have

  • Experience with Spark/EMR
  • Experience building streaming applications
  • Experience with AWS services like EKS, SQS/SNS, EMR, Redshift, S3
  • Prior experience at a fintech startup
