Understanding of distributed systems fundamentals: state management, fault tolerance, concurrency, event-driven architectures

Ability to operate as a senior individual contributor with ownership and minimal direction
Product and ownership instinct focused on learner experience

Willingness to travel occasionally for conferences, events, and team offsites

Nice to have

Experience with Temporal or another workflow orchestration system
Background in developer education, developer relations, or technical enablement
Open source contributions in developer tooling or distributed systems
Experience building LLM-powered applications or AI agents and understanding their reliability challenges at scale
Experience with a learning management system or education platform
Experience working in a remote-first, globally distributed company
