What they ask for
Required
- 3-6 years of mechanical design experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Experience designing and building mechanisms, assemblies, and electronics packaging
- Knowledge of motors, encoders, sensors, gears, splines, lead screws, linear guides, harmonic drive actuators, and power transmission components
- Experience prototyping, characterizing, testing and optimizing actuators
- Mechanical analysis experience including modeling, tolerance stacks, static/dynamic analysis, FEA, and thermal analysis
- Expert CAD user with Solidworks, Siemens NX, Creo, or Onshape
- On-site presence at Fremont facility minimum 3 days per week
