What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
- 8–10+ years in sports marketing, sponsorship consulting, brand partnerships, collegiate athletics, or agency experience
- Extensive experience managing college sponsorship programs across NCAA institutions and conferences
- Demonstrated experience managing bowl game entitlement sponsorships
- Established relationships throughout collegiate sports landscape
- Proven ability to develop partnership strategies driving client investment
- Experience negotiating complex sponsorship agreements
- Exceptional client service and relationship management skills
- Experience leading and mentoring high-performing teams
- Strong understanding of collegiate athletics, NCAA regulations, and NIL opportunities
- Experience managing sponsorship budgets and financial reporting
- Ability to lead integrated sponsorship programs across universities and conferences
- Strategic thought leader capable of influencing clients with data-driven recommendations
- Willing to travel extensively and work evenings and weekends
- Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills
