Required
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field plus 8 years experience (or graduate degree plus 6 years, or 15 years without degree)
- Experience with component obsolescence tools and methods
- Experience with end-of-life management, COTS, and counterfeit parts
- Experience setting up EDM and parts management practices
- Understanding of EEE parts qualification and screening requirements
- Knowledge of JEDEC, EIA, IPC, military, NASA, and ESA standards
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Electronic Component Management Plan practices
- Knowledge of space design requirements, processes, and applications
- Knowledge of PCB CAD designs for various assurance levels
- Knowledge of high-density interconnects and high-frequency electronics
- In-depth technical knowledge of passive and active electronic components, processors, memories, connectors, wires, cables, metal finishes, tin whisker mitigation, and lead-free control
- Understanding of thermal, structural, and high-speed digital analysis techniques
- Solid understanding of configuration management and requirements traceability
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Capable of multitasking across multiple projects and production support
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- U.S. citizen eligible to obtain and maintain U.S. Government security clearance
- U.S. Person status per ITAR and EAR requirements
