What they ask for
Required
- 8–12 years of experience in communications, journalism, speechwriting, chief of staff work, or strategy and operations
- Exceptional writing ability, particularly at distilling technical decisions into clear narratives and writing in others' voices
- Experience serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders
- Ability to embed credibly with engineers and security practitioners, asking good questions and earning their trust
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Nice to have
- Experience communicating about security, infrastructure, or other deeply technical domains
- Background at AI companies, frontier tech companies, or fast-moving technical organizations
- Experience building or running internal communications programs during rapid organizational growth
