What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of procurement or supply chain experience with significant indirect category focus
- 4+ years of people leadership including team development and mentoring
- Track record setting and executing category and supplier strategies across large complex indirect portfolios with measurable savings
- Strong negotiation expertise on complex commercial agreements
- Deep knowledge of procurement systems (ERP, P2P/S2P, e-sourcing, contract lifecycle management)
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder influence skills
- Ability to build, scale, and mentor high-performing teams in fast-paced environments
- Experience managing and developing complex contracts with legal and commercial acumen
- Experience sourcing construction, capital projects, ground support equipment, or engineered fabricated goods
Nice to have
- Master's degree or MBA
- Professional certification (CPSM, CPSD, or CIPS)
- Experience leading indirect procurement transformation including sustainability and supplier diversity programs
- Experience in complex manufacturing (aerospace, defense, automotive, or frontier technology)
- Familiarity with government contracting, ITAR, or export controls
