  • 18+ years of practical storage technology engineering experience
  • Extensive hands-on work with high-performance parallel file systems at multi-petabyte scale
  • Wide expertise in object storage and block storage systems
  • Track record managing storage platforms at exabyte scale for performance-critical workloads
  • Demonstrated ability to set technical strategy across business units and partner organizations
  • 100% hands-on in systems engineering with production code writing and debugging
  • Strong proficiency in at least one systems language (C, C++, Rust, or Go) and Python
  • Comfortable with Linux kernel storage and networking stacks
  • Daily use of advanced AI coding and autonomous tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience operating in 24/7 production environments with security-first approach

Nice to have

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Proven background designing or managing storage for AI training/inference at 10k+ GPU scale
  • Open-source contributions or maintainership in storage projects
  • Experience building disaggregated-inference or inference-time-compute storage architectures
  • Public technical contributions through patents, peer-reviewed papers, keynotes, or RFCs
