Required
- 4+ years hands-on union payroll processing experience
- Experience interpreting and setting up withholding orders for levies, garnishments, and involuntary wage assignments
- Knowledge of automated time and attendance systems
- Strong knowledge of FLSA and federal, state, and local wage-hour and tax regulations
- Ability to interpret collective bargaining agreements for pay and paid time off rules
- Intermediate Excel proficiency with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Nice to have
- Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation
- Experience with Workday Payroll
- Experience with IBEW, IATSE, AFTRA, and/or NABET collective bargaining agreements
