What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field with applicable experience
- 3+ years of project engineering experience in continuous manufacturing
- Prior capital project management experience
- Manage multiple concurrent projects with emphasis on project and productivity management
- Technical leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to engage operators and mechanics in projects
- Experience working with plant technicians, vendors, contractors and engineering firms
- Understanding of packaging and processing systems
- Knowledge of plant manufacturing, engineering, quality and research functions
- Currently authorized to work full-time in the United States
Nice to have
- 5+ years in food manufacturing with engineering experience
- Construction Management experience
- Knowledge of Food Manufacturing regulatory requirements (GMPs, Food Safety)
- Experience with EPA and OSHA regulations
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies like LEAN, Six Sigma or TPM
