Required
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
- 2+ years of related network security experience
- IAT Level II 8570 compliant certification (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, or equivalent)
- Active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance
- U.S. Citizen with valid passport
- Understanding of OSI Model, TCP/IP, VLANs, and UDP Multicast
- Firewall configuration knowledge (Juniper, Cisco, Palo Alto)
- ACL design and function knowledge
- Multi-vendor switching and routing experience (Juniper, Cisco)
- Security configuration and testing design ability
- NIST CVE framework familiarity
- Virtualization experience
- VMware and ESXi hardening basics
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Experience with STIG compliance and system accreditation
- DoD security practices knowledge
- Ability to document design and development efforts
- Ability to learn security hardening for diverse products
- Ability to brief and recommend solutions to leadership
- 100% onsite work at Colorado Springs, CO or Schriever Space Force Base
- Travel capability for deployments
