What they ask for
Required
- 2+ years designing, building, and testing rocket engines, combustion devices, pumps, or valves
- Mastery of compressible flow, thermodynamics, control systems, cryogenics, and instrumentation fundamentals
- Strong data analysis and processing skills
- Proficiency with pneumatic, hydraulic, and cryogenic fluid systems
- Knowledge of aerospace fasteners, seals, tubing, fittings, and COTS hardware
- Experience with pressure transducers, thermocouples, accelerometers, and flow meters
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent
- Willingness to work onsite in Moses Lake, Washington
- U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for ITAR authorization
Nice to have
- Systems engineering fundamentals applied in fast-paced development
- Proficiency with fluid analysis tools like Siemens AMESim, Thermal Desktop, Python, EES, or REFPROP
- Hands-on experience fabricating and assembling propulsion components including turbopumps, combustion devices, valves, and electronics
