Required

10+ years of software engineering experience (or equivalent with advanced degree)
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform including GKE, Cloud Monitoring, and Cloud Logging
Deep expertise in Java/J2EE, RESTful APIs, and microservices
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and modern CI/CD practices
Proven ability to design and operate high-throughput, low-latency applications supporting large transaction volumes
Experience with distributed systems and strict SLA/SLO commitments
Hands-on technical leadership and mentoring capability

Nice to have

12+ years of software engineering in enterprise, fintech, payments, or regulated environments
Experience designing high-performance systems with measurable optimization results
Expertise in Canary and Blue-Green deployments and progressive delivery
Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices
Experience with observability, monitoring, logging, and tracing platforms
Background in incident management and root cause analysis
API-first architecture design experience
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and automation
