Required
- 10+ years of software engineering experience (or equivalent with advanced degree)
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform including GKE, Cloud Monitoring, and Cloud Logging
- Deep expertise in Java/J2EE, RESTful APIs, and microservices
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and modern CI/CD practices
- Proven ability to design and operate high-throughput, low-latency applications supporting large transaction volumes
- Experience with distributed systems and strict SLA/SLO commitments
- Hands-on technical leadership and mentoring capability
Nice to have
- 12+ years of software engineering in enterprise, fintech, payments, or regulated environments
- Experience designing high-performance systems with measurable optimization results
- Expertise in Canary and Blue-Green deployments and progressive delivery
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices
- Experience with observability, monitoring, logging, and tracing platforms
- Background in incident management and root cause analysis
- API-first architecture design experience
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and automation
