What they ask for
Required
- 5+ years professional pipe fitting, fabrication, construction, or mechanical experience
- Read and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, blueprints, and piping specifications independently
- Hands-on experience with measuring, layout, cutting, beveling, grinding, drilling, and fit-up of piping components
- Fabricate and install carbon steel and stainless steel piping systems to specification
- Identify and troubleshoot fit-up, alignment, and installation issues independently
- Coordinate with other trades and mentor less-experienced pipe fitters
- Safely operate forklifts, reach lifts, man lifts, and rigging equipment
- Clear US government background check for Cape Canaveral work
Nice to have
- Extensive industrial piping fabrication, installation, maintenance, commissioning, or turnaround experience
- Experience with specialized piping materials and complex equipment connections
- Previous aerospace, power generation, shipbuilding, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, or semiconductor industry experience
- Hydrostatic/pressure testing, flushing, commissioning, and troubleshooting experience
- Lead pipe fitter, foreman, or crew lead experience with crew coordination and quality monitoring
