- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in production engineering, systems, or networking engineering
- Hands-on experience automating network provisioning, configuration, and remediation
- Experience with SDN platforms and protocols
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or C
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet
- Deep knowledge of Linux internals, networking subsystems, and kernel modules
- Familiarity with BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, and network virtualization
- Strong experience with containerized workloads and Kubernetes, particularly CNI plugins and service networking
- Incident response, troubleshooting, and documentation practices
- Experience building and operating managed networking services at scale
