This role embeds you directly with federal government customers to design, build, and deploy Deepgram's Voice AI platform in highly constrained environments—on-premises, air-gapped, or edge hardware where mission success depends on getting it right. You'll own the full technical lifecycle from discovery through production, shipping solutions that matter while shaping how government agencies adopt voice AI at scale.

What they ask for
Required
- Active Top Secret clearance or equivalent
- 5+ years of engineering or technical deployment experience
- Software engineering background with professional development in Python, JavaScript, or similar
- Ability to scope and deliver complex systems in ambiguous contexts
- Experience building and deploying production systems in government or constrained environments
- Strong verbal and written communication for technical and non-technical audiences
- Willingness to travel up to 50% including on-site work at government facilities
Nice to have
- Experience with speech recognition, NLP, AI, or voice agents
- Familiarity with cloud deployment models (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government), Kubernetes, Terraform
- Experience deploying software or models in on-prem, air-gapped, or edge environments
- Experience building or deploying systems powered by LLMs or generative models
- Knowledge of FedRAMP, FISMA, or government compliance frameworks
- Experience with API-first products and developer tools
- Exposure to federal sales or procurement cycles
- Experience developing automation, self-service tools, and technical documentation
