What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline
- 8+ years of hands-on electrical CAD design experience with industrial or infrastructure class equipment
- Strong proficiency in EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical and/or Edge Electrical
- Experience designing power distribution and control systems for complex, multi-variant products
- Working knowledge of IEC, UL, and regional electrical compliance requirements
- Ability to independently execute and own complex electrical designs with minimal oversight
Nice to have
- Electrical design experience for power and cooling systems, switchgear, transformers, busway, PDCs, CDUs, chillers, or thermally intensive infrastructure
- Experience with switchgear, control panels and industrial power systems
- Proven background in panel layout, wire routing and electrical mechanical integration
- Familiarity with PLM systems and formal product release and change control processes
- Experience supporting both NPI and sustaining engineering in production environments
