What they ask for
Required
- 7+ years software or infrastructure engineering experience
- 3+ years operating production workloads on AWS and/or GCP
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency with AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Augment
- Experience planning and executing real cloud migrations, not just whiteboard designs
- Ability to handle stateful data, IAM, DNS, secrets, and undocumented dependencies during migrations
Nice to have
- Strong current Kubernetes experience (EKS, GKE, or equivalent)
- Production-level Terraform and Terragrunt proficiency
- Strong coding skills in Go and/or Python for automation and tooling
- CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Flux, or Harness
- Observability stack knowledge (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, GCP Operations Suite)
- Experience migrating managed cloud databases
- Secrets management and IAM least-privilege design
- Security auditing and compliance framework familiarity
- Multi-cloud experience across GCP and AWS
