What they ask for
Required
- Associate's degree in Information Technology, Security, or Engineering, or 8+ years military experience with applicable Security Certifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance required at hire
- 5–10+ years in cybersecurity, cyber analysis, IT security, vulnerability management, security operations, IT compliance, or GRC
- Knowledge of security operations, endpoint security, identity security, vulnerability management, incident response, and risk analysis
- Familiarity with NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, NIST 800-53, DFARS, ITAR/EAR, CUI, and similar regulated-environment controls
- Experience creating or maintaining security documentation such as findings, evidence, POA&Ms, procedures, control narratives, risk registers, or remediation trackers
- Prior DoD, federal, aerospace, defense, or government-contractor experience
- Strong analytical, writing, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- U.S. Person eligible for export authorization
- Willingness to relocate to or work onsite in Folsom, CA area
Nice to have
- Experience with SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanning, GRC, ticketing, or cloud-security tools such as Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Splunk, Tenable, Rapid7, ServiceNow GRC, Archer, or Drata
- Experience supporting Microsoft GCC High, Azure Government, FedRAMP, GovCloud, or secure collaboration environments
- Security+, CySA+, GSEC, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CMMC RP, or similar certifications
- Ability to progress quickly, learn new security domains, and operate with high ownership in a fast-moving environment
