What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
- 7+ years of semiconductor, ASIC, SoC, foundry, IP, or complex silicon sales experience
- Business development and sales experience with foundries, custom silicon houses, and end customers
- Experience with T1 ASIC builders and foundry/custom chip building
- Ability to travel as needed
- Excellent spoken and written English
Nice to have
- MBA or advanced technical degree
- Direct experience in custom ASIC, semi-custom silicon, foundry services, or silicon commercialization models
- Experience with hyperscale, cloud, data center, networking, automotive, industrial, healthcare, edge compute, or HPC customers
- Understanding of semiconductor business models including NRE structures, wafer supply, packaging, yield, and lifecycle support
- Experience with globally distributed sales teams
- Ability to influence C-level and SVP-level stakeholders
- Track record negotiating complex strategic agreements and multi-year opportunities
