Required
- Deep expertise in PostgreSQL internals including query planner, executor, and storage engine
- Proven experience building PostgreSQL extensions in C and Rust
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL permission model including RLS, roles, and grant systems
- Experience troubleshooting production issues in managed PostgreSQL environments
- Comfortable building and owning idempotent deployments across thousands of Postgres instances
- Ability to read and navigate PostgreSQL source code
- Experience with multi-tenant database architectures
- Experience running PostgreSQL at scale
- Available for on-call responsibilities with strong Americas timezone overlap
