What they ask for
Required
- Currently licensed as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in applicable state
- Master's degree (MSN or graduate APRN program)
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner from accredited organization
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Arrangement with supervising physician per state Board of Nursing requirements
- Credentialing and privileging by Medical Executive Committee and hospital Governing Body
- Acute Care certification for Nurse Practitioners
- Proficiency in English (oral and written)
Nice to have
- Established experience in cardiology
- Cardiac medicine rotation or experience for new graduates
- Related clinical experience
