You'll assemble, install, and test rocket components for Relativity Space's Terran R vehicle, working directly with engineers to solve manufacturing challenges at scale. What they ask for
Required
- 4+ years aerospace mechanical experience or related field
- Experience in fast-paced production handling flight hardware
- Technical skills in fastener/torque applications, secondary retention, testing, avionics, and bonding
- Effective verbal and written communication with engineering and production teams
- Ability to set up and operate hand, pneumatic, and calibrated tools
- Physical capability to climb ladders and work in tight spaces
- Safe navigation on uneven terrain
- Frequent crouching, bending, squatting, and kneeling as needed
- Ability to reach and extend arms overhead for assembly tasks
Nice to have
- FAA Airframe and Power Plant license
- Electromechanical build proficiency
- Familiarity with propulsion systems and components
