What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field
- 8+ years of technical product management or product-minded infrastructure engineering experience at Principal or equivalent scope
- Storage subject matter expertise with credibility as peer to senior infrastructure engineers
- Strong technical understanding of cloud storage architectures at hyperscale
- Experience managing long-term vendor strategy and evaluating storage hardware/software investments
- Understanding of infrastructure economics including cost per usable TB and capacity efficiency
- Analytical mindset informed by data for multi-year infrastructure decisions
- Exceptional communication skills translating technical tradeoffs for leadership
Nice to have
- Experience with AI/ML infrastructure including training and inference workloads
- Direct experience with high-performance storage networking such as RDMA or GPUDirect Storage
- Experience with major cloud provider storage services or cloud-native storage principles at hyperscale
- Experience managing or mentoring other product managers
