What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, or Materials Science
- 15+ years of materials and process engineering experience
- Knowledge of NASA standards and material data requirements for spaceflight
- Direct experience with metallurgy including heat treatment, corrosion control, additive manufacturing, welding, and failure analysis
- Knowledge of aluminum alloys, titanium alloys, stainless steels, and nickel-based alloys
- Familiarity with contamination control requirements and verification methods for space hardware
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
- Ability to pass U.S. government background investigation
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends to meet project milestones
