What they ask for
Required
- Deep hands-on expertise in at least one core hardware systems domain for large-scale compute or networking
- Experience owning hardware system architecture at machine, rack, row, and cluster scale
- Experience authoring specifications and requirements
- Track record taking hardware from architecture through production deployment
- Experience working with external hardware vendors and reviewing their designs
- Ability to reason about trade-offs across interconnect, power, thermal, and mechanical domains
- Technical leadership with ownership of directional decisions
- Comfort with high autonomy in fast-moving ambiguous environments
- Strong written communication skills
Nice to have
- 8+ years in hardware systems architecture for hyperscale, HPC, AI/ML, or high-end networking platforms
- Experience with AI accelerator systems and their scale-up / scale-out fabrics
- Familiarity with chip-package-system interface and co-design
- Experience establishing a new engineering function or practice
- Comfort working with AI tools in engineering workflows
- Bachelor's degree in EE, CE, ME, CS, or related field
