What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field
- 5+ years of turbine and turbomachinery experience
- Turbine design experience with aerodynamic and structural analysis capability
- Knowledge of LCF and HCF design methodologies
- Understanding of industry-standard turbomachinery design and analysis practices
- Knowledge of turbopump assembly procedures including rotor balancing, interference fits, clearance checks, structural proofing, and leak checks
- Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion in ambiguous conditions
Nice to have
- Experience with transient thermal and aerodynamic analysis
- Experience with forced response analysis
- Experience with in-situ mode shape and blade deformation measurement
- Experience leading turbomachinery development or test campaigns
- Proficiency in Siemens NX and Teamcenter
- Background in startup or agile development environments
- Experience on a flight development program
