What they ask for

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, aerospace or related engineering
  • 3+ years hands-on spacecraft integration and test or flight hardware operations
  • Electronics bring-up and mechanism actuation control experience
  • Electrical troubleshooting using laboratory instrumentation
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and ICDs
  • Experience with automated test procedures and scripting
  • Connector verification and electrical interface testing

Nice to have

  • Direct spacecraft mechanisms or flatsat environment experience
  • Experience commanding and monitoring deployment or actuation events
  • Motor drive and actuator control systems knowledge (brushed DC, brushless DC, stepper motors, encoders, closed-loop positioning)
  • Spacecraft commissioning and deployment operations experience
  • Anomaly investigation and root-cause analysis support
  • Spaceflight hardware development familiarity
  • Embedded C/C++ exposure
