3+ years of software development experience
Experience with modern compiled languages (Go, Rust, Java, or C++)
API and service design experience with versioned public APIs
Understanding of API gateway concerns (routing, authentication, rate limiting, quota checks)
Ability to design and scale fault-tolerant distributed systems
Relational database expertise (PostgreSQL) including schema design and transactions
Experience with message queues and streaming systems
Comfort building long-running workflows and reconciliation loops
Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and microservices
Experience with observability, SLOs, and production debugging
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Mentorship experience

Nice to have

Experience building or scaling a public cloud console or developer platform
Familiarity with AI/ML workload requirements
Experience with billing systems at scale
