What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 12+ years of software engineering experience
- Production ownership of workflow, build, release, developer-infrastructure, HPC, storage, or engineering-automation systems
- Strong Linux and POSIX fundamentals (files, permissions, processes, environment variables, exit codes, logs)
- Practical programming in Python, C++, Perl, or comparable language
- Shell scripting experience
- Familiarity with Make, YAML, JSON, or related infrastructure
Nice to have
- Semiconductor-design or EDA workflow experience (RTL, synthesis, place-and-route, timing, signoff, ECO, design handoffs)
- LSF, Slurm, Grid Engine, or shared compute infrastructure experience
- NFS or other shared filesystem experience
- Deep ownership of build systems, HPC workflows, release infrastructure, or artifact-centered engineering systems
- Experience creating structured logs, validation results, manifests, provenance records, dashboards, or workflow diagnostics
- Track record modernizing Make, Tcl, Perl, Python, or shell infrastructure while maintaining compatibility and reproducibility
