What they ask for

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related discipline)
  • 0–2 years of quality engineering experience or relevant internships/co-ops
  • Foundational knowledge of quality management systems and inspection methods
  • Exposure to root cause analysis tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, SPC)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in high-hazard, safety-critical manufacturing environments
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Ability to pass State and Federal background checks and obtain explosives licenses
  • U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual eligible for export authorization

Nice to have

  • Coursework or experience in energetics, explosives, aerospace, defense, or high-reliability manufacturing
  • Interest in pursuing ASQ certifications (CQT or CQE)
  • Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, or DoD quality requirements
  • Exposure to configuration management and controlled documentation systems
  • Understanding of government contract requirements and customer quality clauses
