Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related technical field
- 4-5+ years cloud engineering, platform operations, SRE, FinOps engineering, or cloud operations experience
- Strong understanding of cloud cost drivers across compute, storage, databases, and networking
- Hands-on Python development experience
- Experience with AWS services including Lambda, databases, and Step Functions
- Experience with CloudFormation
- Strong SQL and advanced Excel skills
- Experience with cost modeling and analysis
- Data visualization tool experience (Power BI, Tableau, or QuickSight)
- Working knowledge of GitHub and version control
- Understanding of tagging strategies and cost allocation
- Ability to independently scope and deliver moderately complex technical solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice to have
- FinOps Certified Practitioner or Analyst certification
- Experience with cloud billing tools (AWS Cost Explorer, CUR, Billing Conductor, Azure Cost Management, GCP Billing exports, or Apptio Cloudability/Flexera/Finout)
- Python and React experience for internal tools or dashboards
- Understanding of Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, and commitment strategies
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Experience in large enterprise or regulated environments
- Familiarity with Auto Remediation Frameworks
