What they ask for
Required
- 5+ years quality inspection experience in aerospace manufacturing
- Expert proficiency with precision hand tools
- Ability to work with design engineering and manufacturing teams on quality issues
- Thorough inspections with strict compliance to quality standards
- Clear communication with inspectors, engineers, and production personnel
- Experience with MRB processes and non-conforming hardware disposition
- Ability to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 25 lbs
Nice to have
- Prior experience inspecting COPVs and avionics hardware including electrical connectors and harnesses
- Ability to take initiative and lead quality improvement projects without formal authority
- Strong organizational skills in ambiguous or undefined environments
- Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification
