What they ask for

Required

  • B.S. in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, mechatronics engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years avionics or electrical systems experience on launch vehicles or ground support equipment
  • Practical knowledge of electrical design, integration, and testing
  • Ability to create and implement procedures and automated test sequences
  • Experience designing and building ground support or automation equipment
  • Strong electrical engineering and RF fundamentals
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical, instrumentation, and control system issues
  • Hands-on experience with multimeters, clamp meters, oscilloscopes, megohmmeters, ground resistance testers, and loop impedance testers
  • Proficiency with 2D CAD software and Microsoft Office
  • Willing and able to travel and work in various environments
  • Ability to prioritize and execute
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to pass USSF background check for Cape Canaveral Space Force Station
  • Willing to relocate to Cape Canaveral, FL
  • U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (ITAR requirement)

Nice to have

  • Experience integrating and testing complex multidisciplinary systems like launch vehicles, satellites, aircraft, or automotive
  • Avionics or GNC hardware-in-the-loop simulation experience
  • Experience developing assembly work plans for mechanical integration of avionics and harnessing
  • Environmental test experience
  • Familiarity with AFSPCMAN 91-710 range requirements and DoD explosive siting for flight termination systems
  • Experience working with 45th SW, 30th SW, NASA, or other government agencies
  • Rigorous attention to detail
