Required
- Master's degree in robotics, computer science, electrical engineering, or related field with 8+ years of industry experience or equivalent
- Expert-level modern C++ (17, 20) for performance-sensitive systems
- Design and deliver large-scale software systems with significant hardware/software integration complexity
- Deep understanding of software engineering best practices for production systems
- Proficiency with recent Linux systems
- Extensive experience writing and debugging hardware-in-the-loop software
- Experience debugging cross-domain problems in electro-mechanical systems
- Experience with automation fieldbus protocols such as EtherCAT, CAN, or Profinet
- Ability to lead technical discussions and communicate across disciplines
- Authorization to work in the USA
Nice to have
- Experience developing real-time or low-latency systems
- Experience writing C++ for embedded systems
- Experience with electronic circuit debugging tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, or logic analyzers
- Knowledge of brushless electric motors and motor control
- Knowledge of Linux networking protocols and configuration
- Python 3.6+ experience
- Familiarity with agile development, issue tracking, version control, and CI/CD
