Required

  • Master's degree in robotics, computer science, electrical engineering, or related field with 8+ years of industry experience or equivalent
  • Expert-level modern C++ (17, 20) for performance-sensitive systems
  • Design and deliver large-scale software systems with significant hardware/software integration complexity
  • Deep understanding of software engineering best practices for production systems
  • Proficiency with recent Linux systems
  • Extensive experience writing and debugging hardware-in-the-loop software
  • Experience debugging cross-domain problems in electro-mechanical systems
  • Experience with automation fieldbus protocols such as EtherCAT, CAN, or Profinet
  • Ability to lead technical discussions and communicate across disciplines
  • Authorization to work in the USA

Nice to have

  • Experience developing real-time or low-latency systems
  • Experience writing C++ for embedded systems
  • Experience with electronic circuit debugging tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, or logic analyzers
  • Knowledge of brushless electric motors and motor control
  • Knowledge of Linux networking protocols and configuration
  • Python 3.6+ experience
  • Familiarity with agile development, issue tracking, version control, and CI/CD
